Parents, after receiving feedback from the  PTA, BSEA is going to continue to  utilize Remind, a messaging app, for the coming school year as another method of contact parents.

If you would like to sign up to receive text messages or emails from the school, you can do so either by clicking on the appropriate link below or by texting to the address below.  Directions for how to sign up have also been attached to this message.  If you have already signed up, you do not need to re-register.
We will continue to  backpack important letters home, email through Pupilpath, and use our Messenger phone blast to contact parents and guardians next year as well.  We look forward to hearing your feedback on the best methods to keep you  in the loop and involved in your child's education.

Brooklyn SEA's News 12 Brooklyn Pep Rally

posted Oct 19, 2018, 8:17 AM by Matthew Campbell   [ updated Oct 19, 2018, 8:20 AM ]

Yesterday, News 12 Brooklyn's weatherman Mike Rizzo did three separate live weather segments from BSEA's campus  recognizing our school community for our school spirit.  Included in the broadcasts were our whole school  cheering,  a segment with eighth grade students Brandon Alexis and Terrell Edwards explaining  their earthquake resistant structure project, a  brief interview with Ms. Jennings,  and  a performance by the  BSEA Steppers led by Ms. Robertson and  Ms. Jean Louis.

You can find the link to the broadcast here.
Additionally, Mike did a Facebook Live broadcast with a small group of BSEA sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students where he taught them about weather fronts and   how data informs meteorologists every day.

All of our students and staff make us proud each day!  Thank you to everyone who voted in the competition!
